REAL LIFE, REAL MOMENTS, ARTISTICALLY DOCUMENTED ...

I’VE ALWAYS HAD A FLARE FOR THE CREATIVE, I JUST NEVER KNEW HOW TO EXPRESS MYSELF. I KNEW I LOVED EMOTIONS, STORIES AND EXPRESSION. I LOVE THE WORLD, PEOPLE AND LIFE…AND THEN I PICKED UP A CAMERA. PHOTOGRAPHY BECAME MY WORLD, MY PASSION, LIVING LIFE THROUGH A LENS. ARTISTICALLY DOCUMENTING REAL LIFE AND REAL MOMENTS. I WAS AMAZED. AMAZED BY THE POWER THAT ONE IMAGE HAD TO TELL A STORY. IT WAS INCREDIBLE...

We were first introduced to Corinne and Major via their wedding planner, Fabian. Who by the way is AMAZING to work with. Allow me to first say thank you to Fabian for such an easy day. You helped make the day flow so seamlessly, you rock my friend.

We got to know a bit about Corinne + Major when we met with them…how they first met, their cultures, religion etc. And we instantly hit it off. Mind you, the more we saw them the more we fell in love with them…. Truthfully, two of the sweetest people on earth.

They met while both working at the Brick and they both share similar values in life…which is partially the reason why they are so perfect for each other…another big reason we fell in love with them is because they like the Raptors, and lets face it, I’m a sucker for anyone who is a Raptors fan … I do have to make it clear though that major does have a slight obsession with Jordan’s, and I don’t blame him.

When the wedding rolled around Kelly and I were very excited to document their day. It was beautiful, and full of such great moments, it’s hard to choose a favourite because there were so many. Plenty of awesome traditions, like the Chinese ceremony where the girls have to prank the guys in order for Major to get to see his bride. Corinne got to watch the whole thing from her room while on FaceTime with one of her bridesmaids. First the guys had to spell “I love you” with white wonderbread using only their teeth, then they had to pick out a shot glass which would either contain vodka or vinegar and drink it without knowing, and finally they had to choreograph a dance to Beyonce – Single ladies, which surprisingly wasn’t all that bad. Finally Major got to see Corinne in her beautiful red Chinese Dress, but of course Major cried because he’s a big softie :)

Then there was the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony which is always fun. Then we had the Christian ceremony in a beautiful church, where Corinne walked down in her beautiful white gown. And the final tradition was the Korean ceremony, with some very interesting outfits. This one was pretty cool, families would throw Chest nuts (I believe) into this blanket held up by Corinne and Major and the amount that stayed in the blanket signified the amount of children they would have.

Needless to say, it was a wedding day full of many different events, cultures and traditions and it was so much fun.

Corinne + Major, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful to have documented this day in your lives :) We truly love you guys and we wish you a lifetime of happiness.

    Congrats,

    Just Love
